#2024-051997/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 1:00 a.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop near North 105th Street and Aurora Avenue North. The suspect vehicle fled Southbound at a high rate of speed on Aurora – NO pursuit was attempted. The suspect vehicle proceeded to drive southbound and ran a red light at North 90th Street, striking another vehicle. The suspect driver fled on foot after the collision. The driver of the victim vehicle sustained non-life threating injuries and was transported to the hospital via medics. The victim driver was also processed for DUI prior to being left at the hospital for treatment.
#2024-052068/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0301 hours 911 received multiple calls reporting a white SUV driven by four males in ski masks had driven onto the sidewalk and struck multiple pedestrians and tents. Officers arrived and located one victim with minor injuries. The victim was transported via AMR to HMC. Area check for suspect vehicle was negative. About an hour later, WSP located a white Hyundai in the southbound collector/distributor lanes of I-5 at Spring ST. This vehicle matched the suspect vehicle description.
#2024-052006/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0109 hours officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of Aurora Avenue North and North 130th Street. Callers reported hearing multiple shots. Officers arrived and recovered shell casings and a slug fragments. A victim called in later saying he was shot at in that area. Police contacted the victim, but he was unable to provide a suspect nor a suspect vehicle description.
