UPDATE: 15-Year-Old Male Arrested in Mount Baker Homicide

Seattle police have arrested a 15-year-old male linked to a homicide from June 16th.

A 22-year-old man was shot to death around 2:00 a.m. in the 3600 block of 34th Avenue.

On June 17th, Seattle police detectives from the Homicide Unit and the with the assistance of Des Moines Police Department arrested the suspect.  

He was booked into the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center, King County’s youth detention facility, for investigation of murder.

Seattle Police Department Homicide detectives are investigating an early morning homicide in Mount Baker Neighborhood.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., 911 received a report of a shooting in the 3600 block of 34th Avenue South. 

Police arrived and found a 22-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the stairwell of a building. 

Officers provided aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries. 

Homicide Unit detectives are leading the investigation and are working to determine the exact circumstances leading up to the shooting. No suspect has been identified.
