King County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the 17-year-old female that was critically injured on 16th, has succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This continues to be an open and ongoing investigation.

Woman Arrested, Teen Critically Injured After Car Rolled into Water at Atlantic Boat Ramp
Saturday evening a 20-year-old female driver was arrested after being behind the wheel of a car that rolled into the water critically injuring a 17-year-old female passenger in Rainier Valley neighborhood.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a vehicle submerged in the water at the Atlantic City Boat Ramp in the 9200 block of Seward Park Avenue South.
Officers and Seattle Fire Department arrive and found the adult woman on shore. She said a teenage female was missing and believed she was still in the water.
Police, SFD divers and SPD Harbor Patrol search the water for the female. She was found non-responsive, SFD immediately started lifesaving efforts. Both females were transported to Harborview Medical Center. The adult woman was stable, and the teenager was in critical condition.
Patrol officers cordoned off the area and detectives with the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded to the scene.
The police investigation revealed the two females were parked at the Atlantic City Boat Ramp before the vehicle entered the water. After the car rolled into the water the driver was able to exit through a window followed by the passenger. Both made it out of the car, but the passenger was unable to swim to shore.
The driver had signs of impairment and was arrested for vehicular assault.
