On Tuesday, September 16 at 4:37 p.m., officers patrolling the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South located a vehicle connected to multiple drive-by shootings in South Seattle.
Police had been searching for a dark gray Toyota with body damage, believed to be involved in three separate incidents. Officers saw the car parked near Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Othello Street with two males inside. A third male returned to the vehicle carrying pizza boxes.
The suspects left the area, and officers stopped the car near South Kenyon Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South. Police detained all three boys, ages 14, 16 and 17. Officers confirmed the Toyota matched security footage from the shooting scenes and had the vehicle towed.
