At 0102 hours, officers were on patrol parked his patrol vehicle. A suspect walked in front of the officer’s patrol vehicle, removed a firearm from his satchel and racked a round. The suspect placed the firearm back in the satchel and proceeded to walk away. The officer requested additional units to respond. The suspect entered a nearby apartment complex where the officer lost sight of the suspect. Addition officers arrived on scene and conducted a building search. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

At 0307 hours a community member interrupted a car prowl and confronted the suspect in the neighbor’s car. The suspect hopped out and got into his vehicle and fled the scene in a white SUV. About 30 yards down the road, the witness saw the suspect stick a gun out of the window and fire a single round. GVRU was notified and requested officers to collect evidence. No property damage was located, and no victims came forward with injuries.

At 2327 hours, officers responded to a call reporting an armed robbery in the 3500 block of South Brandon Street. A male suspect wearing all dark clothing approached a delivery driver, who had just completed a delivery, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the victim’s cell phone and car keys. When the victim told the suspect ‘NO’ the suspect attempted to pistol whip the victim in the head but some well-placed headphones the victim was wearing thwarted that effort and protected them from injury. The suspect left on foot from the scene and appears to be the suspect in 2026-209728, which happened shortly thereafter. The Robbery Unit was contacted regarding both matters.

At 2343 hours, a suspect burst into an apartment located in the 3800 block of South Angeline Street and pointed a gun at the victim demanding their car keys. Officers arrived in the area very quickly and seem to have thwarted the theft of the victim’s car as it was located still parked on the street but with the keys inside. A K9 from Bellevue Police was located to assist in a track. WSP Smokey was also able to scan the area. Unfortunately, the suspect(s) were not located. The Robbery Unit was notified.

At 2332 hours, officers responded to Cal Anderson Park to a report of a male stabbed in the chest. Officers located the victim with non-life-threatening stab wounds to the torso. SFD transported him to HMC where officers interviewed him. According to the victim there was a fight between him and the suspect over a stolen beanie which resulted in the victim striking the suspect with a glass bottle. The suspect then stabbed the victim twice and fled the area.

At 2158 hours, officers received reports of a shots call in the area of SW Myrtle / 32 Av SW. Upon arrival Officer contacted three subjects who stated they were in the field when people began walking down the hill and shooting fireworks at them. They thought one of them had a gun also. One subject ran to the car and got his firearm and began firing to scare them off as they stated. They stated the subjects ran away. Officers had no one to verify the subject’s story. The shooter was identified, the gun was clear, and he had a valid concealed carry permit. GVRU was contacted and Patrol processed the scene. Subjects were released.
