Officers responded to a home in West Seattle where a 16 year old student reported ongoing bullying, harassment, and assault at the hands of another student at a local high school. Specifically, the suspect was said to have made specific statements while assaulting the victim that would unmistakably be understood to mean that the suspect chose to assault the victim because of his race. The suspect’s identity is still in question and more will be learned when students return to school after this weekend. Seattle Public Schools Security was contacted regarding this matter.
