On October 22nd at 1130 AM, Southwest Precinct patrol officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. The victim, age 17, informed officers that she was in the company of a male acquaintance, age 19, after school on October 21st. The victim reported that she was walking to a friend’s house and the suspect was walking to his home, both in the same vicinity. Once at their respective destinations, the victim followed the suspect into his home to retrieve personal property that he had taken. Once there, he refused to let her leave and sexually assaulted her. The victim pointed out to officers the residence in question, located in the 5900 block of High Point Drive SW. Officers made contact with the suspect and arrested him. He was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Rape.
