Two people seriously injured in a two vehicle collision. Today just shortly after 2:00 p.m., a Toyota SUV was travelling northbound, mid-block of the 1900 blk of 4 Ave. At this time a VW Jetta turned into the Toyota causing it to overturn onto a parked car.
Seattle Fire (SFD) arrived and extracted the driver and a passenger inside the Toyota. SFD transported both of the occupants of the Toyota to Harborview Medical Center with a serious injuries.
A Drug Recognition Expert Officer responded to the scened the driver of the VW. The officer did not detect any signs of impairment and the driver was released and the scene.
The investigation continues.
