(Updated) One Man Killed, Two Wounded In Brighton Shooting

Detectives are investigating after one man was shot and killed shortly after midnight Tuesday morning in the Brighton neighborhood.

Police were dispatched to the report of shots fired near Rainier Avenue South and South Garden Street around 12:15 AM. Officers arrived and found three male victims with gunshots, and immediately began providing medical assistance.

One of the men, age 45, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other men, ages 47 and 50, were transported by Seattle Fire medics to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. They are expected to survive.
