Operation Broken Heart 2018

As part of the annual Broken Heart campaign, the Washington Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force  made a concentrated effort to disrupt peer to peer (P2P) distribution of child pornography. These are some of the most complex cases to investigate and require a significant amount of time, training, and expertise. The below data is a testament to the relentless effort of ICAC investigators to dampen predatory behavior targeting our youngest victims. It is also a stark reminder of the prevalence of child pornography and child sexual abuse. If you have any information about child abuse, please act now by calling 911, or filing a cybertip with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The following crime data captures the work of our ICAC Task Force during a three-month time period, from March through May.
