On October 4th at 7:34 PM, a male pedestrian was seen by witnesses crossing Denny mid-block to attempt to get into an occupied taxi cab. When he realized the cab was occupied, the male tried to cross back over to Denny and was struck by a small black car, possibly a Honda. The black suspect vehicle then took off Eastbound on Denny. The closest cross street is Westlake.
Seattle Fire Department medics responded and transported the pedestrian to Harborview Medical Center. His injuries are described as life threatening.
