Fight & Shots Fired in North Seattle

On October 12th at approximately 1:50 A.M. a group of males were throwing rocks in an alley in the 5200 block of University Way NE. Another group of males exited a nearby residence, exchanged words with the first group, and the two groups subsequently got into a physical altercation. Someone from the rock-throwing group retrieved a firearm and a struggled ensued over the gun. During the struggle over the gun, one round was discharged hitting a concrete wall. Most of the subjects fled the scene prior to the arrival of responding officers. Some of the remaining subjects were treated for injuries sustained during the fight.
