On October 27th at around 2:20 PM two fifteen-year-old burglars broke into a house in the 1800 block of 29th Avenue S and stole a flat screen TV, a notebook computer and assorted computer equipment. A vigilant neighbor had witnessed the youth casing the area and called 911. South Precinct patrol officers responded. One suspect was taken into custody near the scene and the other was captured after a short foot pursuit. Both suspects were booked into the Youth Service Center for Investigation of Burglary. Officers notified the victim via telephone. She responded to the South Precinct and identified her property. The property was photographed and returned to her.
This arrest would not have been possible if it had not been for the 911 call made by the watchful neighbor.
