On October 28th at 9:14 PM, North Precinct patrol officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 6800 block of E Greenlake Way N. The victim, a sandwich shop employee, had just left work with the nightly deposits and receipts. An unknown male suspect approached her as she walked to her parked car. The man was wearing a mask and carrying a handgun. He robbed the female victim at gunpoint, struck the her in the head and then ran away.
Numerous units, including a K9 officer and the King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 1 helicopter, conducted a search for the suspect but he avoided capture. The Seattle Fire Department treated the victim’s injuries at the scene. No further treatment was required.
