Armed robbery near Greenlake

On October 28th at 9:14 PM, North Precinct patrol officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 6800 block of E Greenlake Way N.  The victim, a sandwich shop employee, had just left work with the nightly deposits and receipts.   An unknown male suspect approached her as she walked to her parked car.  The man was wearing a mask and carrying a handgun.  He robbed the female victim at gunpoint, struck the her in the head and then ran away.

Numerous units, including a K9 officer and the King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 1 helicopter, conducted a search for the suspect but he avoided capture.  The Seattle Fire Department treated the victim’s injuries at the scene.  No further treatment was required.  Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Seattle Police Robbery Unit at 206 684-5535.
