On November 14 at approximately 10:24 P.M. an officer was proceeding northbound on 8th Avenue NW heading to a disturbance call possibly involving a knife. The officer had emergency lights and siren activated and had stopped at a red light to clear the intersection at NW 80th St. Once he proceeded through the intersection he was struck by a westbound-traveling vehicle that had been concealed from view by an SUV. There were no injuries reported by any of the occupants of the citizen’s vehicle. The officer reported stiffness and soreness to his neck as a result of the collision.
