On June 10th at approximately 1:30 p.m. a 17-year-old male was home alone in the basement area of his family’s house located in the 5100 block of S Juneau Street. He heard movement on the main floor of the house and went to investigate. He noticed some opened drawers that had previously been closed. The victim entered the master bedroom and confronted the suspect, a man around 20 years old. The suspect threatened the victim and claimed to be armed. The suspect bound the victim and fled the residence with stolen property. The victim was able to free himself and called 911 to report the crime.
CSI detectives responded to the scene and processed it for evidence.
