Shots fired near Seattle Center, four arrested

On December 24th, at approximately 2:26 am, West Precinct officers were in the 300 Block of 5th Avenue North, monitoring the closing of some nightclubs.  Officers had been sent there earlier on a large disturbance.  Prior to their arrival, the disturbance had subsided, but an officer stayed in the area.  At around 2:26 am the officer heard multiple shots from the parking lot area.  The officer observed a  vehicle leaving the parking lot and stopped the vehicle in the area of Denny and Broad Street.  Four males occupied the vehicle.  When additional officers arrived at the scene, the four suspects were taken into custody.  There were several weapons inside the vehicle.  Officers and Gang Unit detectives located shell casings in the parking lot. There were no injuries.  The four suspects, two adults and two juveniles, were booked into the King County Jail and Youth Services Center, respectively, for Investigation of Drive By Shooting and/or VUFA.  The Gang Unit will conduct the follow up investigation.
