Shotgun fired, one arrested outside South Seattle home

On April 25th at approximately 9:00 PM, South Precinct officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the 3800 Block of 46th Avenue South.  A witness had called 911 stating that her neighbor had just gone outside and fired a shotgun.  Upon arriving, officers observed the suspect in the living room by a cabinet.  A short time later, the suspect came out his door and was taken into custody.  Officers entered the residence and recovered a .40 caliber handgun from inside the cabinet (which was later discovered to be stolen).  In addition, a shotgun was recovered from an open closet with six live rounds in it and a spent shell in the chamber.  The 44 year old male suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Investigation of VUFA
