Traffic Collision with injuries

On  August 20, 2010 at approximately 7:35 a.m., a Saab 4-door sedan occupied by an adult male was northbound in the 800-block of 23rd Avenue approaching E. Marion Street. 

At that same moment in time, a Subaru Legacy stationwagon, occupied by two adult males and an adult female, was eastbound on E. Marion Street approaching 23rd Avenue. 

The Subaru failed to stop for posted eastbound stop sign and entered the intersection striking the left front of the Saab in the northbound lanes of 23rd Avenue. 

All occupants in both vehicles were injured.  The adult male passenger in the Subaru suffered life-threatening injuries.  All injured parties were transported to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. 

Alcohol consumption was noted in the passenger compartment of the Subaru.  Traffic Collision Investigators responded and processed the scene. Detectives are investigating this incident as a felony traffic crime.
