On May 21st, shortly before 4:00 PM, 911 received several calls stating that a female had stabbed a male in the neck at 3rd Avenue and Pine Street. Witnesses had tackled the woman and held her down until officers arrived. A couple of foot beat officers were the first to arrive. It was later determined that the victim was a female. Seattle Fire was summoned to the scene to treat the adult female for her injuries. The injury was not considered life-threatening, but the victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment. The weapon, a steak knife, was recovered and submitted into evidence. The incident was reportedly over some money owed the suspect by the victim. The 55 year old female was arrested and will be booked into the King County Jail.
