Homicide in North Seattle, suspect in custody

On December 3rd, at approximately 1:36 am, North Precinct officers responded to a man calling for help outside of his residence in the 13500 Block of Linden Avenue North.  When officers arrived they discovered a 52 year old male who had been stabbed several times.  He told officers that his fiancee was still inside the residence.  Officers went inside and discovered a 47 year old female who had also been stabbed multiple times.  Unfortunately, she did not survive her injuries.  Officers were able to identify the suspect, and he was arrested a short distance away.  Homicide and CSI detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation.

The surviving victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center.  His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspect, a 51 year old male, was interviewed by detectives and later booked into the King County Jail.  This remains an active and on-going homicide investigation.
