On 12/8/11, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to an assault (DV) in the 1600 block of 8 Av. The victim told officers that the suspect had attempted to strangle him.
The suspect fled prior to officer’s arrival. At 3:39 a.m., the victim called back and stated that the suspect had returned and assaulted him again. Officers returned to the location and arrested the female suspect.
During the contact and arrest, the suspect actively resisted by pushing, pulling and flailing her body. She bit one officer’s forearm and also attempted to kick him.
The suspect was escorted to a waiting patrol car where she continued to act belligerent and out of control. She attempted to bite the officer again and kicked the officer several times in the lower leg, causing minor bruising.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of DV Assault and Investigation of Assault on the officer.
