On March 24th at approximately 4:37 p.m. officers responded to the 7900 block of 45th Avenue South for the report of a citizen who was robbed at gunpoint. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was in his front yard when he was approached by an adult male suspect. The suspect demanded the victim’s cell phone. The suspect lifted his shirt and showed the victim a handgun in his waistband.
The victim gave up his cell phone and the suspect fled on foot with it. The victim began chasing after the suspect. The suspect then turned around and pointed his gun at the victim, which caused the victim to stop chasing the suspect.
The suspect ran to a dark green vehicle with no rear license plate, possibly a Honda, and fled in the vehicle.
The suspect is described as an Asian male, 18 to 21 years old, wearing a black, blue and white beanie, a blue hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, and blue Adidas shoes.
Officers conducted an extensive area check however, the suspect and suspect vehicle remain at large.
Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity of whereabouts of the suspect or the suspect vehicle is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident.
