On April 27th at approximately 10:44 p.m. officers responded to a report of an armed robbery and assault of a citizen in the area of 34th Avenue South and South Oregon Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that at least two suspects came up behind the victim, who was carrying two bags, and pushed the victim to the ground. One suspect pushed a silver pistol into the victim’s face while the suspects demanded the victim hand over his property. The suspects grabbed the victim’s bags and ran off (the bags contained newly upholstered bar stool cushions).
The victim sustained minor injuries from being pushed to the ground.
Officers conducted an extensive area search with the assistance of a canine unit however, the suspects remain at large.
The suspects are described as black males, 17 to 19 years of age, wearing black hoodies that were pulled up over their heads.
Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identities or whereabouts of any of the involved suspects is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident. Anonymous tips are welcome.
