Two 14 year old burglars, a boy and a girl, were arrested this morning around 8:00 am after burglarizing a house on 46th Avenue South near South Rose Street. Just before 8:00 am, the homeowner returned home a found a teenage girl standing on the corner frantically signalling to a teenage boy standing next to the victim’s house. The boy then signalled to someone inside the house. The male inside the house ran out the front door and all three suspects ran together. The victim called 911 and South Precinct officers arrived quickly. Officers contacted the two “lookouts” in the 8600 Block of 45th Avenue South. The victim was able to positively identify the suspects. The third suspect, also described a teenage male, was not located. The two suspects were arrested and later booked into the Youth Services Center.
