North precinct officers found an occupied stolen car in the 9000 Block of Aurora Ave. N today at 1:20 p.m.
The suspect tried to flee in the stolen Honda Civic but ditched the car near N. 90 St. and Stone Ave. N.
Officers saw the suspect running into the area of Wilson Pacific Middle School. While chasing the suspect on foot , an officer collided with a female student. The officers were able to catch the suspect without further incident.
The Seattle Fire Department was called to the scene to evaluate the girl who was eventually released to her parents.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of auto theft.
