The woman’s car was a manual transmission and the suspects were unable to drive it he so that got out of the vehicle and ran north and westbound from the location. An extensive area check was made but the suspects were not located.
A Patrol Evidence Technician was able to collect DNA/fiber evidence from the victim vehicle and also obtained a DVD of surveillance footage from a local business that shows the suspects running away through the parking lot. These items were placed into evidence. Thankfully the victim was uninjured and there was no damage to her vehicle.
The suspects are described as three black male teens. One was carrying a handgun and wearing a white hoodie. The other two suspects wore light colored hoodie sweatshirts.
