Police arrested a man on Beacon Hill Friday afternoon after he pulled a gun on another driver in a road rage incident on Rainier Avenue.
The victim was stopped behind a BMW at a red light at Rainier Ave South and South McClellan Street just before 11 A.M. Friday. The victim told officers that when the light turned green, the first car at the light failed to notice. The victim honked at the inattentive driver, who, rather than pulling forward, leaned out of the car and pointed a handgun at the victim. The victim took a picture of the suspect’s license plate and called 911.
Officers found the suspect’s BMW parked in front of a house in the 2200 block of South Lucile Street. Officers took the suspect into custody as he walked back out of the house, and booked him into the King County Jail for Investigation of Harassment.
