Update x 2: Detectives Arrest Suspect in UW Sexual Assaults

Update 5/22/15: Police are now investigating the suspect for four additional cases of possible voyeurism after discovering several suspicious videos on his cell phone during a warrant search.

Detectives have identified and contacted one of the victims recorded by the suspect, and are still investigating the three other cases.

The suspect remains in custody at the King County Jail, where he is being held on $1,000,000 bail.

Update:

Detectives have now linked this suspect to three other cases reaching back to 2014. Detectives will work with prosecutors to determine any new charges the suspect may face.

Detectives arrested a man Friday evening in connection with a string of sexual assaults in the University District.

Detectives served a search warrant at the 30-year-old’s home in the 800 block of NE 104 St. just after 7 PM Friday. Detectives took the man into custody without incident and are currently interviewing him. Detectives will book the man into King County Jail for investigation of rape and burglary.
