Witnesses called 911 just before 1 AM after hearing gun shots in the area of N. 89th St. and Aurora Ave. N.
Officers found the 25-year-old victim in the back of a car, preparing to be driven to a hospital. The victim said he was staying at an abandoned house nearby when he got into an argument with another man over living space at the home. The victim said he left the house and was followed by the man, who pulled out a gun and shot him several times.
Police and a K-9 team searched the neighborhood for the suspect, but were unable to find him.
Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
