Officers responded to 5 Avenue and South Jackson St at 9:30 Friday evening for a report of a man stabbed. When the officers arrived they were approached by a woman stating that the female suspect from the stabbing had just threatened her with a knife as well. Officers quickly tracked down the suspect and took the female suspect into custody. Additional officers interviewed the male victim and found the suspect had made some bias remarks about his race just prior to the assault.
Seattle Fire Department medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
