SPD Gang Unit detectives are investigating after a 38-year-old man showed up at a First Hill hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after 1:00 am Wednesday 911 began receiving calls of “shots fired” in the 100 block of 25th Avenue South. East Precinct patrol officers arrived and located several shell casings in the street, but did not locate any victims or witnesses to the shooting. As the scene was being processed, the 38-year-old male victim arrived at Swedish Hospital with one gunshot wound to each arm. The injuries are considered non life-threatening. The victim declined to provide patrol officers or detectives with information about the incident. Gang Unit detectives continue to investigate.
