Detectives Investigating Fremont Arsons

Detectives are investigating after two Monday morning fires in Fremont were determined to be arson.

The Seattle Fire Department responded to reports of a fire in an alley of the 300 block of North 36th Street at 3:46 a.m. Monday.  Firefighters extinguished the flames that damaged three nearby businesses. Firefighters responded to a second report of a fire at 4:12 a.m., this one in the 400 block of North 36th Street.

Seattle Police Arson Detectives as well as Seattle Fire Department Fire Investigators and do not currently believe these fires are connected with any others in the area.  Detectives have released images of the suspect, believed to have deliberately set the fires on Monday morning.
