Detectives are investigating after a driver struck a man, who was sleeping in the exit of a First Hill garage, early Monday.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Jefferson Street at 6:40 AM after receiving a report that a driver had struck a person.
When officers arrived they found a 57-year-old man who had life-threatening injuries. Seattle Fire Department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center where he is currently receiving treatment.
Traffic Collision Investigations detectives believe the man was sleeping in the inclined exit lane of a parking garage. The 36-year-old female driver of the car attempted to exit the garage and struck the man. Detectives continue to investigate the case.
