Detectives are investigating after a teen was shot during an apparent robbery in Magnolia Friday night.
Officers were called to the intersection of 34th Avenue West and West Ruffner Street at 8:30 PM Friday for a report of a 17-year-old who had been shot in the leg.
Police arrived and found the teen with the caller who was applying pressure to the wound on the teen’s calf. Seattle Fire Department medics took the teen to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of his wound.
Officers spoke with the victim who would only tell them that he was there to sell some shoes when he was assaulted by two men who left in a red car.
