Police arrested a 48-year-old man Wednesday in connection with an October 26th homicide in the 3600 block of South Adams Street.
East precinct patrol and Anti-Crime Team officers spotted the suspect, who had previously been identified by detectives, entering a tent in the 1000 block of South Main Street Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Officers called for negotiator units and SWAT to contain the suspect and assist in convincing the man to leave the tent and surrender. After two hours of negotiation, the suspect exited the tent and was taken into custody.
Homicide detectives are currently interviewing the suspect and will later book him into King County Jail for investigation of homicide.
