#2020-220030/East Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 07-23-202 at 0017 hours, a demonstration/protest began in a park located within the East Precinct. The group quickly disregarded the rule of law and began committing multiple counts of property damage, burglaries and arsons. Several homemade explosives were used and detonated to cause one minor fire, and a larger structure fire. At the time of this report, there were no officer or civilian injuries reported.

#2020-220499/Southwest Precinct/First Watch: 

On 7-23-2020 at 0324 hours, Southwest Officers responded to a shots-fired call with property damage. No injuries were reported. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with the rear driver side and passenger side windows shattered. A second vehicle with similar damage was located one block away. 

#2020-220573/East Precinct/First Watch: 

On 7-23-2020 at 0615 hours, a victim was standing on a public sidewalk smoking a cigarette when he was stabbed by a known suspect. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center and the suspect was taken into custody a short distance away without incident. 

#2020-220835/West Precinct/Second Watch: 

On 7-23-2020 at 1147 hours, West Precinct personnel were dispatched to a call of a suspicious device in the Magnolia neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers noted a cylindrical item wrapped in electrical tape and containing a green fuse. They cordoned off the area and requested the Arson Bomb Squad. ABS responded and transported the item to the range for disposal. The item appeared to contain a flash powder type derivative commonly found in consumer fireworks. Item was safely disposed of by countercharge.
