#2020-219551/South Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 7-22-2020 at 0300 hours, there was a dual response for a dumpster fire at the Southwest corner of the 7-11 store. Fire damaged the siding, plywood sheeting, and dumpster. Seattle Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. Fire Marshal responded and conducted an investigation. 

#2020-219575/South Precinct/First Watch: 

On 7-22-2020 at 0356 hours, there was a dual response for a fire at an interior property of U-Haul. Fire origin was in a storage area, and burned a neighboring Conex Box. Seattle Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. Fire Marshal responded to investigate. 

#2020-219724/South Precinct/First Watch: 

On 7-22-2020 at 0903 hours, a Parking Enforcement Officer discovered a that was parked occupied by one person. Officers responded and took the driver into custody without incident. The vehicle was impounded. 

#2020-219988/West Precinct/Second Watch: 

On 7-22-2020 at 1412 hours, several callers reported that a male had been stabbed at 3rd Ave South and South Main Street. Seattle Police Department EMT officers arrived and applied bleeding control to the victim’s severe wound. A suspect was located, detained 1 block from incident, and was positively identified by eyewitnesses. The suspect had previously brandished a 9″ blade at COVID testing staff, as well as made threats to kill. The victim transported to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire Department medics with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

#2020-220069/South Precinct/Second Watch: 

On 7-22-2020 at 1551 hours, officers responded to a call of a male who had shot himself in the hand. Officers located the male with a gunshot wound to his left hand. Male said he accidentally shot himself while clearing his handgun, and that his friend then left with the gun. Seattle Fire Department personnel responded and treated him at the scene. AMR later transported him to Harborview Medical Center.

#2020-220219/North Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 7-22-20 at 1928 hours, Seattle Police Department resources monitored a group of approximately 100 protesters and 15-20 of their support vehicles, who all originated at Maple Leaf Playground. There was no property damage, there were no arrests nor face-to-face contact between Officers and protesters.
