#2020-224685/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 7-28-2020 at 0241 hours, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6200 block of Rainier Ave South and located a victim who had been shot once in his right calf. Witnesses reported that a small dark sedan drove by north on Rainier Ave S after shooting at a white SUV parked at the gas pumps. The victim was standing nearby when he was hit. The SUV drove from the area. The victim was treated on-scene by Seattle Fire Department personnel.

#2020-224815/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 7-28-2020 at 0750 hours, SPD Harbor responded to a report of a float plane that had crashed and appeared upside down and sinking between Yarrow and Hunt’s Point. Prior to the Harbor Patrol Unit’s arrival, the pilot and sole occupant had extricated himself with lacerations to both legs and a mild concussion. Harbor arrived and secured the upside-down plane, which was leaking fuel. Kirkland Fire and Mercer Island PD also responded to assist. Harbor notified the FAA, NTSB, USCG, EPA, NRC and took primary on-scene investigation. Once authorized by the FAA, Harbor towed the damaged plane to Leschi.

#2020-225320/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 7-28-2020 at 1813 hours, officers observed a vehicle stolen out of Federal Way at Roxhill Park. The vehicle was occupied by two suspects. Officers took both suspects into custody without further incident. Officers located a possible firearm on the passenger seat.

#2020-223523/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 7-28-2020 @ 2030 hours, detectives developed probable cause for a vehicle with Oregon plates. The vehicle and the subjects associated with it are suspected of several recent shootings in the City. The unoccupied vehicle was located but three subjects were detained. One is a suspect in several shootings and was in possession of a firearm. He was booked. The other two subjects were released.
