#2020-?/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 8-3-2020 at 0154 hours, security officers reported a coworker had fallen from the roof of a parking garage to a roof top approximately 30′ below. When officers arrived, the subject was up and walking around. The subject had obvious trauma to his head and appeared very disoriented. Officers spoke with the subject and talked him away from the edges of the roof top while he stumbled around. The Seattle Fire Department arrived and tended to the subject who was transported to Harborview Medical Center for further evaluation. 

#2020-230103/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 8-3-2020 at 0500 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of an armed carjacking that occurred at 38 Ave SW/SW Myrtle ST. The victim reported that he was sitting in his vehicle waiting for his workday to start when he was contacted by two males; one was carrying a black handgun while the other was carrying a green laser device. One of the males ordered the victim out of the car and to leave his keys and wallet. The victim exited the vehicle and witnessed the suspects drive off. Officers located the vehicle dumped at SW Barton ST and 20th Ave SW. The vehicle was returned to the victim, minus his wallet and cell phone. 

#2020-230650/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 8-3-2020 at 1712 officers responded to a downtown Seattle store for an assault on security where one victim had a tooth knocked out. Officers arrived and the suspect was still standing outside on the sidewalk. When officers contacted the suspect and attempted to place him into handcuffs, he forcefully shoved the officer. Officers were able to get the suspect into custody quickly and force was used. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail. 

#2020-230889/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 8-3-2020 at 2228 hours, a group of individuals was at the park playing basketball when according to the victims, a white vehicle pulled up, and someone began shooting at them from the vehicle. Four of the males at the park were hit, two with grazing wounds, and two with foot wounds. The vehicle then left in an unknown direction. Police arrived at the scene. One of the victims was transported to Harborview Medical Center and another self- transported to Harborview for treatment. K9 responded to the scene, but due to the suspects fleeing in a vehicle, no track was attempted. Officers responded to Harborview.
