Detectives are investigating after a 26-year-old man was shot Tuesday afternoon. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 4:30 PM, officers responded to a 911 call of a shooting in the 3100 block of Rainier Avenue South. Officers located the victim who had multiple gunshot wounds and immediately rendered aid. Seattle Fire arrived and continued life-saving measures. The victim was rushed to Harborview and was taken into surgery.
Officers searched the area for the suspect, including with a K-9 team and the King County Sheriff’s Office’s helicopter, but the suspect was not located.
