#2020-263327/North Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 9-10-2020 at 0043 hours, a male was standing outside his car in a parking lot near Aurora when a prostitute approached him and chatted with him. The male became uncomfortable because the prostitute made a phone call and left. Before the male could drive off, a car pulled in front of him and its occupants robbed him at gunpoint. They stole his cellphone, wallet and gymbag. The victim did not get a good look at the suspects, who were last seen driving off W/B. An area check was made. 

#2020-263332/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-10-2020 at 0058 hours, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office on-viewed a shooting in unincorporated Lynnwood. Sno County, Lynnwood PD and Washington State Patrol pursued the suspect vehicle, which was stolen. SPD was not notified of the pursuit and was not involved in the pursuit. The pursuit ended in Lincoln Sector, just inside the city line, when the suspect vehicle crashed and rolled. One suspect was ejected and was declared deceased on-scene. Witnesses stated that another suspect fled from the vehicle. SPD assisted with containment. The possible second suspect was not located. 

#2020-263403/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 9-10-2020 at 0445 hours, previously unknown male and female suspects attempted to pull a young woman out of her car that she had given a ride to and then take her car keys. Suspects punched the victim and her friend, taking the friend’s cell phone and running away. A witness chased the suspects down and held them for police. Both suspects were arrested and booked. 

#2020-263848/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-10-2020 at 1415 hours, a construction worker was just leaving his job in his personally owned vehicle when a suspect on a bike threw a rock through his car window. The victim said the attack was unprovoked and a complete surprise to him. The victim got out of his car and tried to take a picture of the suspect. When the suspect saw this attempt, he attacked the victim by grabbing the suspect and slamming him to the ground. This assault caused a deep bleeding laceration to the victim’s head and possible cognitive damage. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center by ambulance. Officers were able to obtain cell phone photos of the suspect before the transport. The suspect fled into Cal Anderson Park. Officers searched the area for the suspect but have not located him at the time of this report. 

#2020-224268/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 7-27-2020, there was a gunfight in the Safeway parking lot in the 3900 Block of South Othello Street. Probable Cause was developed for the suspect for Robbery and Assault. The shooting suspect is on active DOC for a prior shooting. On 9-10-2020 at 1400 hours, the suspect was taken into custody at the Kent DOC office. The suspect was transported to HQ, interviewed, and booked into the King County Jail. 

#2020-263890/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-10-2020 at 1449 hours, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of 23 Av S/S Walker St. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate victims or shell casings. Further investigation revealed that the shooter was a nearby shop owner who had fired shots into the air as he was chasing after theft suspects from his store. Officers detained, identified and interviewed the shop owner. Others involved were never located as they had fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. Officers recovered the firearm involved. The shop owner was investigated and released at the scene pending follow-up investigation for Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm. 

#2020-263964/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-10-2020 at 1610 hours, a Metro coach was westbound on NW 103 St, preparing to turn south on 3 Av NW. Simultaneously a bicyclist was southbound on 3 Av NW, turning east on NW 103 St. They collided on the NW 103 St side of the intersection. The bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
