#2020-281204/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-1-2020 at 0005 hours, officers responded to a hospital in the north precinct for a stabbing victim. Victim stated he was somewhere in the Ballard area with several friends when he got into a verbal argument with an unknown male. The argument quickly escalated, with the victim sustaining several non-life-threatening wounds to his upper torso. Victim was stabilized and then transferred to Harborview Medical Center for further care. The victim and his friends were uncooperative, consequently officers were unable to locate the crime scene. The vehicle that the victim and friends were driving around in, turned out to be an unverified Everett PD stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered and impounded.

#2020-281209/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-1-2020 at 0012 hours, a female became embroiled in a verbal disturbance that escalated when the male suspect brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot her. Moments after, and before the incident escalated further, the male entered a silver Dodge pickup and fled the scene in a westbound direction. An area check for the suspect met with negative results.

#2020-281271/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-1-2020 at 0300 hours, two security guards observed two suspects burglarizing the Post Office. The guards chased the suspects who dropped bags of stolen mail and escaped on foot N/B on Rainier Ave S. The front door of the Post Office had been pried open. Officers responded and did an area check which was negative. All stolen items appeared to have been recovered. One of the bags left behind by the burglars contained burglary tools specific for the Post Office and locks and keys for locked mailboxes. Officers contacted the US Postal Inspector providing him with information about the burglary and tools recovered.

#2020-281306/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-1-2020 at 0449 hours, officers responded to Harbor Island to assist fire on a large gas spill at a Shell pump station. Seattle Fire set up a one-thousand-foot perimeter around the spill location as a precaution. Officers shut down vehicular traffic on 16th Ave Sw/Sw Klickitat St. and 16th/13th Ave Sw and Sw Florida St until the scene was safe. SPD motors responded to assist patrol with road closures. The roadways were reopened at 0900 and all units cleared.

#2020-281955/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-1-2020 at 1914 hours a man called 911 to report that he had been robbed at knife point. The victim was found with no serious injuries at 3 AVE and Main ST. The suspects were last seen running north bound on 3 AV S. They stole clothing and an unknown amount of cash. Area was negative for the suspects.
