#2020-289664/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-10-2020 at 0124 hours, a call came out of a shot fired and people screaming. Officers arrived in the area and heard another shot fired to the East. Officers converged on 16th Ave SW/SW Trenton St to find about 20 people in the area. The subjects were not cooperative. Officers formed one contact team to look for the suspect to the South. A vehicle quickly left eastbound from the intersection and drove over a center island two blocks away. Officers formed a second contact team and searched to the East for the suspect. The vehicle did not stop and was not located. South patrol officers combined with SW patrol in order to coordinate efforts at the scene. No victims were located.
#2020-289818/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-10-2020 at 0825 hours, a male was discovered stumbling down the street with a non-life-threatening stab wound to his back. The victim was unable or unwilling to provide a description or further details to the incident. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
#2020-290163/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 10-10-2020 at 1633 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery of a small jewelry store in Ballard. Four suspects with face masks and hoodies talked the store owner into opening the front door slightly. Once he did this, the suspects pushed past the victim and began to take as many items as they could carry. Several of the suspects were armed with handguns and fled to an awaiting vehicle with driver. This case is being investigated.
#2020-290205/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 10-10-2020 at 1739 hours, officers responded to a 911 call that someone had been shot. As more information came out it was broadcast as an accidental discharge. Officers arrived and secured the scene for Seattle Fire. The adult female victim stated she had accidentally shot herself when she was moving the handgun to get it out of the house. There were several others in the house when it occurred, including two young children. Officers interviewed the witnesses and the narratives were mostly the same. Everyone in the house stated that the male that lives there went fishing before all this happened. The firearm had been taken from the house by another person and it was tracked down through a relative. The relative had a differing story but had not been in the house when it happened. Officers interviewed the male who had taken the firearm out of the house and secured it.
