On 10-10-2020 at 1739 hours, officers responded to a 911 call that someone had been shot. As more information came out it was broadcast as an accidental discharge. Officers arrived and secured the scene for Seattle Fire. The adult female victim stated she had accidentally shot herself when she was moving the handgun to get it out of the house. There were several others in the house when it occurred, including two young children. Officers interviewed the witnesses and the narratives were mostly the same. Everyone in the house stated that the male that lives there went fishing before all this happened. The firearm had been taken from the house by another person and it was tracked down through a relative. The relative had a differing story but had not been in the house when it happened. Officers interviewed the male who had taken the firearm out of the house and secured it.
