#2020-295848/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-17-2020 at 0005 hours, officers responded to reports of a person shot on Lake City Way NE near NE 130 St. Officer arrived on scene and located a male victim lying on the ground with a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower abdominal region. After the scene was secured, Seattle Fire personnel responded and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for further medical care. Officers processed the shooting scene and identified an associated vehicle that the suspect left in as a passenger. A Washington license plate check showed that the registered owner of that vehicle lived at a local apartment building. Officers responded to that address and located the vehicle in the parking garage of the apartment complex. Officers attempted to contact the registered owner of the vehicle however there was no answer at the door and or phone numbers associated with the R/O. The vehicle was impounded into the SPD evidence vehicle processing room. The victim was uncooperative and would not disclose why he and the suspect got into a fight which lead to the victim being shot.  

#2020-296002/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-17-2020 at 0728 hours, Seattle Fire responded to a car fire at 615 E. Lynn. The Fire Marshal determined it was a set fire and requested West Patrol and the Arson Bomb Squad. Fire Marshal stated that SFD had also responded to another small debris fire a short distance away, unknown if it was related. ABS responded and the investigation is on-going. 

#2020-296283/South Precinct/Second Watch: 

On 10-17-2020 at 1454 hours, a group of people were holding a political rally in the 7100 block of M L King Jr. Way S. An argument developed with a person from the opposing party. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation leaving one person with visible, yet (apparently) minor injuries. No one was arrested at the time of investigation due to conflicting accounts.
