#2020-301257/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-23-2020 at 0422 hours, officers viewed an occupied stolen SUV at M L King/S. Orcas. The vehicle’s driver eluded the police and officers did not pursue. Soon after, the vehicle was located at 36 Ave S/S. Genesee. The driver attempted to elude again but collided into a victim vehicle. The suspect attempted to run away from the scene but was stopped and arrested. The driver of the victim vehicle had to be extracted from his car by Seattle Fire and went to the hospital for a possible broken shoulder. The suspect had narcotics in his possession. The suspect was booked for PSP, Eluding, Vehicular Assault, Hit and Run, and VUCSA.
#2020-302050/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-23-2020 at 2339 hours, officers responded to shots fired and a man down. According to witnesses, the victim and female were arguing in the alley when they walked down the street and NB on the sidewalk of the main road. Shots were heard by different witnesses, but no one reported seeing the suspect or the actual shooting. The victim would not cooperate with officers. The female that was with the victim had fled the scene and was not located. The victim was shot in the left should blade/arm area, left leg, and left pelvic area. Seattle Fire transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
