#2020-302137/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-24-2020 at 0310 hours, a male was leaving his girlfriend’s residence when he was contacted by the female suspect. The female suspect asked if she could go home with the victim. The victim denied her request. The suspect became angry and cut the victim’s cheek with a folding knife. The suspect was located nearby and taken into custody. She will be booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.
#2020-302341/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 10-24-2020 at 1112 hours, officers were already in the area of M L King/S Othello as the precinct had been advised of a political rally beginning at Othello Park. When a group representing the opposing political side showed up in the area, officers increased their presence to deter any potential problems. Eventually, the rallies ended peacefully.
#2020-302384/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 10-24-2020 at 1220 hours, 2 suspects, in a Silver 4D vehicle, followed a female victim from her Credit Union on Lake City WY NE, where she withdrew a large sum of cash. The suspects pulled up behind her vehicle in the lot at her apartment complex. One suspect approached her vehicle on the passenger side, smashed the window, and stole her purse containing the cash, her wallet, and cell phone. Responding officers determined one of the suspects was in the credit union when the victim made the withdrawal. They identified one of the possible suspects. The robbery unit was contacted. Responding officers recovered the victim’s cell phone at a nearby intersection. The suspects are still at large.
