#2020-303639/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-26-2020 at 0800 hours, officers responded to a shooting on E Newton St near Minor Av E. Upon arrival, officers located one victim with a bullet wound to his thigh, and immediately applied a tourniquet. After establishing a secure crime scene, officers located three vehicles that had sustained damage from the fired rounds, including the victim vehicle. Witnesses stated that three unidentified males had fired upon the victim as he sat in his parked vehicle, before fleeing east on E Newton St. The suspects were not located.
#2020-304192/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-26-2020 at 2039 hours, neighbors in the 11300 block of 8th Avenue NE heard, reported, and were able to successfully pinpoint, the general vicinity of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located and recovered evidence shots had been fired. No suspects, victims, or property damage were discovered during the area check.
