#2020-304311/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-27-2020 at 0041 hours, a suspect stole items in 7-11 and left the store. The clerk approached the suspect after he entered a vehicle. The suspect then produced a gun and pointed it at the victim clerk.  The victim backed away and the suspect drove away from the scene.

#2020-304361/East Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-27-2020 at 0410 hours, an East Precinct patrol officer on-viewed a stolen vehicle being driven on Airport Way S. The vehicle crashed into a light pole (no damage) and the suspect ran. Officers arrested the suspect a block away. The suspect had a felony warrant for his arrest. South Precinct officers arrived quickly to assist East Precinct officers. The suspect went to Harborview Medical Center for an evaluation before being booked into jail.

#2020-304875/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-27-2020 at 1647 hours, there were numerous calls on shots in the area of the Brown Bear car wash at NE 125 St/15 AV NE. Officers arrived and received differing descriptions of the suspect at first, and no descriptions of possible victims. Officers located a person of interest who was identified, spoken to by detectives, and released from the precinct. No handgun was recovered. Officers located evidence next to the business and damage to the business. 

#2020-305123/West Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 10-27-2020 at 2244 hours, officers responded to 2316 2 Av for a report of an Assault. The suspect was inside a bar at the listed location and got into an altercation with a victim who they believed was a Pro-Trump supporter. The suspect then assaulted Victim 1 based on this perceived ideology. Victim 2 attempted to intervene and, as a result, was also assaulted by the suspect, sustaining scratch marks on their face. Victim 3, who is an acquaintance of the suspect, escorted them outside. Once outside, the suspect then began to assault Victim 3. Officers arrived while the suspect was assaulting Victim 3 and placed the suspect into handcuffs. The suspect was arrested for one count of Malicious Harassment due to perceived political ideology and two counts of assault. 

#2020-305145/North Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 10-27-2020 at 2315 hours, a male was observed inside a store concealing items upon his person. The store clerk told him to put the items back and leave. The suspect then produced an eight-inch knife and demanded the store’s money. The clerk refused to give the suspect any money. The suspect then left the store with the few items he concealed, and the clerk locked the door. The suspect realized he left his bicycle in the store and demanded the clerk open the door so he could get his bicycle. When the clerk refused, the suspect attempted to break the glass door with the outside garbage can but was unsuccessful. The suspect left in an unknown direction. An area check was negative.
