On 11-2-2020 at 2153 hours, several calls came into SPD 911 regarding shots heard in the area. Officers responded and located evidence of a shooting at a nearby intersection. No property damage was observed, and there were no witnesses.
#2020-310379/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-2-2020 at 2316 hours, officers responded to multiple 911 calls of shots fired in the area of 23rd Ave and E Marion St. Officers conducted an area check for victims and property destruction. While completing this, they located evidence of shots fired in the 900 Block of 23rd Ave. Officers contacted a passerby who stated a red sedan was seen in the vicinity after hearing the shots being fired. No suspect description was provided by either the caller or the passerby. No victims or property destruction were located.
